This worked a few weeks ago, but, like a fool, I do not recall how I managed to get full screen mode to take up the full screen. In essence, games played in borderless windowed mode appear as though they’re being played in fullscreen, though in reality they’re really being displayed in borderless windows that have been stretched to cover the screen.

That’s it! You’ll get a borderless windowed client! Can you make Minecraft borderless? How do I use Fullscreenizer? Activate Fullscreenizer Click the Fullscreenizer window, and click “refresh” if you don’t see your game in the list of running programs. Select your profile, and click "Edit Profile". This software application is 100% free, please consider donating for the time spend on updates and adding features so we can keep going at it. Although Minecraft does not have a borderless window option per se, it is still possible to run the game like this via mods.

All failed to put stronghold on, not over, my desktop.

I have tried Dxwind, 3d-analyze and Auto size. Ah those days were great but get real Game designers I've got 10 apps running many of which require my frequent attention… even when gaming. Most, naw ALL of my other games DOSBox aside, have no on desktop option, they all wipe my screen clean and play exclusively in their own full screen window overlay, as though playing their game were the only thing going on in my life. A classic favorite game of mine is hidden and dangerous circa 1999, I find myself still playing it today even though I've completed several tours of duty, I just love the on desktop format.
